The expert seminar Tastes of the small country with ducal flavours

It has almost become an established practice that Richemont Club Croatia with the logistical support of TIM ZIP organizes two expert seminars per year, in spring and autumn, for production managers, technologists and other professionals in bakery and pastry from all over the region. As a rule, the guest-lecturers are always the distinguished persons from the world of baking from the national Richemont clubs.

On April 25 this year the seminar entitled “Tastes of the small country with ducal flavours” was held in the promotional bakery of TIM ZIP in Zagreb. The president of the Richemont Club Luxembourg, Carlo Bock, shared a part of his knowledge and experience with the interested participants.

Together with his fellow baker Max Nosbusch, the renowned virtuoso, promoter of the baking profession and also a Board member of the Food Crafts Association of Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, presented several attractive products from the country in the heart of Europe with the largest number of restaurants per capita.

25 participants from 11 companies of Croatia and Serbia attended the seminar and participated in the presentation and live production, as well as the tasting of delicious products.

In front of the very interested and cooperative audience, the Luxembourgian master bakers produced Carlo’s homemade bread, Pistachio brioche, Riesling pâté and Cramique – specialties of his country’s gastronomic heritage.

In addition to this practical part, the seminar also had an interesting theoretical part in which prof. Ph.D. Dubravka Novotni and prof. Ph.D. Nikolina Čukelj Mustač from Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, University of Zagreb made presentations on topics of traditional breads of Europe and Croatia.
