The latest trends in the world of bakery, pastry and confectionery were presented at the TIM ZIP Open Door day in Belgrade, held on 16 of May this year.

The most modern machines, lines and technological solutions exhibition was hosted in Belexpocentar fair hall in Belgrade covering an area of 1000 square meters and visited by 220 bakery, pastry and confectionary experts from 105 industrial companies and crafts. Visitors from different cities in Serbia, as well as the neighbouring countries like Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Middle East Syria, followed the presented suggestions and ideas with great interest.

Particularly great interest was shown for demonstration of burek production on the ELIN line, puff pastry products on RONDO automated lines, healthy energy bars on the BÜHLER group machine as well as for horizontal packaging of PFM machine products, cutting of cakes by ultrasonic cutting machine BAKON and the ATTOLSPEED oven for fast food preparation.

A total of twenty renowned European producers presented their equipment at this grand event, which took on all the features of the mini fair with its exhibition and content program.

The space was equally strong dominated and attention was focused to the all-day production of delicious bakery and pastry products produced by DATA-BAK, EKOS CAKES, PURATOS, TIM ZIP and UNIFERM masters, and all interested in tasting the offered assortment could assure the quality of the used raw materials.

One of the most important events of that day was the public promotion of the new, fifth professional book of the TIM ZIP Library ‘’Bread for Life’’, a work entitled Baking mastery. The book was presented by the reviewer, prof. dr. sc. Duška Ćurić, and the author of the book, dipl. ing. Franjo Klarić signed it to the interested readership.

Participants also had the opportunity to participate in the prize game, and the luckiest winners brought home numerous valuable awards of mostly educative character.

Great response and expressed interest confirmed the significance of this important event in the exchange of high-quality information and experience as a major precondition for improving the own business in the future and contributed to the development of new ideas on the organization of even more complex versions in the upcoming years.
